If you want to start your New Year with colour, celebration, and pure energy, there is only one place to be on 1st January, Winneba . While everybody is still sleeping after 31st Night, Winneba is already awake. Drums, brass band, costumes, masks. This is the Winneba Masquerade Festival, locally called Fancy Dress. It is the first major festival in Ghana every year. And it is the second biggest festival in Winneba after Aboakyer. There is a morning in Winneba that does not feel like any other morning in Ghana. I remember the first time I followed the sound. I thought something had happened. I thought maybe there was a funeral. But when I reached the road, I saw something I had never seen before. Vermont Musician Big Homie Wes Drops Official Lyrics Video for 'Hustler Motivation'

Vermont Rapper and Producer, Big Homie Wes just released the official lyrics video for one of the powerful songs on his newly released EP 'AV Brookhaven'. The song is called ' Hustler Motivation'

Vermont Rapper and Producer, Big Homie Wes

Big Homie Wes is proving that you don't need a big studio to make big music. His new 6-track EP 'AV Brookhaven' was written, produced, and recorded entirely by himself in just 5 days in Montreal.

The standout record on the project is Track 3 —Hustler Motivation. Make no mistake, this is not a club track. This is a cinematic hustler's anthem. Big Homie Wes crafted this record specifically for everyone waking up early, grinding late, and building their own empires from nothing.

The track's heavy, atmospheric production is driven by a deep, cinematic sound, elevated by the addition of live bass from musician Samuel Guihan.

Over the driving production, Wes delivers one of the most striking bars on the EP; "Blood in my veins same as the Mayan". The line serves as a thesis statement for his journey. His hustle isn't a temporary trend—it is inherited. Just like the historic Mayans who engineered and built lasting empires, Wes reminds listeners that he was built to endure, survive, and ultimately conquer.
