2026 has been huge for rap. Drake just took #1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums with "Iceman", while J. Cole's long-awaited "The Fall-Off" pulled 280,000 first week. Future also hit #1 with "The Real Me".
On the singles side, Cardi B just surprised fans with "AH HA" on July 31. The track came right after she finished "The Little Miss Drama Tour" - now the highest-grossing debut arena tour by a female rapper with over 450,000 tickets sold.
Other names dominating playlists: Chris Brown, Latto, Gunna, Don Toliver with "Octane", and A$AP Rocky with "Don't Be Dumb". UK fans are riding Dave ft Tems "Raindance" which hit #1.
